Dr Andrew Iles is an experienced consultant psychiatrist who works part-time in private practice and part-time in the NHS. He is committed to providing excellent standards of clinical care; his approach is recovery-based, and he is recognised to have a warm, approachable and empathic manner. He sees private outpatients in Oxford and Northampton.
He qualified as a doctor in 2004 and completed his postgraduate training in psychiatry in London, Oxford, Berkshire and South Wales before qualifying as a consultant in 2011. His has held consultant positions with South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, St Andrew’s Hospital in Northampton and Cygnet Health Care. Since 2018, he has been employed by Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, and as a visiting consultant for the Priory Group.
As well as treating mental illnesses and mental health problems, Dr Iles acts as an expert witness, providing expert evidence to the criminal and civil courts as well as several different tribunal settings.

We know that leaving voicemails does not fill people with confidence which is why when Sue is not at her desk, her calls are answered by a dedicated pool of secretaries to ensure that your call is always answered by a person during office hours. Sue and Dr Iles maintain regular contact throughout the working week to make sure that clinic-related tasks are addressed as swiftly as possible.
